Hello All,

Thanks your all of your help.  The problem is that the DLT drive is and SE interface while the F760 is a Fast Wide Differential interface.  Now for the next question.  How would I get this thing to work with my F760.  Is there another card I can buy for the Net App?

Thanks

Blake

Check to see if you Autoloader has a single ended SCSI interface.
The F7XX Series Filers shipped out of the box with a Fast Wide Differential interface.
Connecting that to a SE interface will hang the Filer.

Seen it many times in the past.

Subject: Adic FastStore DLT

Hello,

I'm trying to get my Adic FastStore 22 tape autoloader to work with my F760 i'm running 6.2.1.  I set the loaders SCSI ID to 0 and the drive to 1 and I have also tried other combinations also, keeping in mind that the SCSI card in the F760 uses ID 7.  When I boot the filer up it just hangs after it checks the memory.  If I unplug the autoloader it boots up with no problems.  The autoloader is terminated and all connections are good.  Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks for your help.
