I have an 8.3.1rc1 cluster; if you like I can try it out for you.

Wonderful, thank you! Once we upgrade to 8.3, I'll use this.

Well, documentation says it is non-disruptive and does not say anything about volume language when listing limitations.
LUNs moved across volumes within the SVM are moved immediately and
without loss of connectivity.
You cannot move the following types of LUNs:
• A LUN that has been created from a file
• A LUN that is in NVFail state
• A LUN that is in a load-sharing relationship
• A protocol-endpoint class LUN

Sorry, CDOT 8.2.3p4. Can I use LUN move to get a production LUN off a volume so I can delete and recreate it with the right language in 8.3?

7-Mode or C-Mode? Which version? cDOT 8.3 supports “lun move”.

Hi folks,
One of my colleagues made a typo on the language for volumes that are used exclusively for LUNs. I know that you can't change the language of a volume, but is there a way to move the LUNs to a new volume with the correct language set?
Thanks!
