How are you seeing this mis-alignment?  What are the numbers?  How big
is the lun?  What OS is using the LUN?  Looking at the docs, VMware is
almost impossible to aligh correctly.  There are other issues with
Linux and Solairs, but if you have LVM in place between the LUN and
the filesystem(s), maybe you can build a new aligned LUN and migrate
the data that way?
