Dear all trombone players, Would anyone kindly cover my stand tomorrow night at the IMU big band rehearsal at Ipswich School and also cover the concert on Monday 10 June. I cannot attend due to personal circumstances and would love someone else to have the chance to play with the guys and gals. Dear Trombonists, we have our next meet booked for June 2nd. It has been suggested we get ahead and fix a date for the following one: Please mark your availability for: Diss-Located Bones https://whenavailable.com/event/kp3iAST8wNJT8Z6D8 <https://whenavailable.com/event/kp3iAST8wNJT8Z6D8> We will make that the last meet before a Summer break, and I suggest we go to the pub after. The Maypole in Wetherden (the next village) allows punters to get a takeaway delivered to the pub. Biga Napolitana in Stow deliver after 5.30pm on a Sunday. So, we will rehearse an hour later than usual 15:00 - 17:00 on whatever date gets the majority of votes, and then we can go sit in the pub with a pizza and a beer. I will put out another poll for the number of pizza eaters nearer the time. Cheers Mike

Dear Trombonists, thanks to all who filled in the poll our next meeting will be: 14:00 - 16:00 June 2nd at the Pavilion. Cheers Mike Ron Crascall Pavilion King George Playing Field Bacton Road Haughley Stowmarket IP14 3RA please: do not turn up if you, or anyone in your household, has any known Covid symptoms sanitise your hands on entering the building keep a safe distance from each other bring a bar towel and use it for emptying your instrument - take it home with you afterwards Haughley is pretty much in the centre of East Anglia - about one hour drive form Chelmsford, Norwich or Cambridge. The hall is 3 mins from J49 on the A14. There is plenty of parking space. This is an open rehearsal, you are all welcome (whether you filled in the availability poll or not), and there are no requirements, apart from bringing: £4 subs your trombone a music stand a bar towel and any trombone ensemble music you may have. Reply to me if you would like a lift from Stowmarket station Please reply to all if you would like to offer or ask for a lift. And talk to other East Anglian trombonists.
